Nicholas Jerome Gajewski

Nicholas Jerome Gajewski, is a self-taught artist based in Stevens Point Wisconsin. His work focuses on exploring the boundaries of three-dimensional shaped canvas and the textural potential of his materials.
He primarily works with various acrylic paints, clays, plasters,
adhesives and fabric canvases. 
He implements unique and meticulous shaping techniques that result in three-dimensional, textural works that utilizes light and shadow to create variations in shade and hue.
The grid is a recurring motif in his work, and he hopes viewers will find a sense of curiosity, wonder, inspiration and meditation in his treatment of these familiar materials and geometric forms.
